First Impressions of The Dyson Airwrap

So, you have seen this before I’m sure but, the Dyson Airwrap has always been the hair tool that I’ve wanted to try out for myself. So of course I went and spent the large sum of money to get my hands on the ever so popular tool. Let’s get into it shall we….

Overall, let me start off by saying that there are MANY different opinions on the Airwrap, and I’m just giving you my personal impression.

The very first thing that I am going to say is that it takes some trial and error to see the best way to use each attachment when styling. Everyone has a different hair type, so one attachment may work amazing for one person and not for another and vice versa. So play around and see which ones suit you best. There are three different brush attachments, four curling in two sizes, and the dryer, and wand. I personally have thick, wavy, and volumous hair that holds styling very well. So I found that every attachment worked quite well on my hair and gave me several different ‘blowout style’ looks. Whereas, I have a few friends that have thinner hair that didn’t necessarily find the Airwrap to work quite well… Now I tried to figure out why that would be the case and I did find that it works really well on second or third day hair and I gave it a quick fixative spray before styling. That really did the trick to make my hair last. So whether you have thick or thin hair, you will see results, you just have to figure out how to use it for your hair type.

Is it worth the price? I would honestly say that the price is quite high, but there is nothing like it on the market. So personally I think it’s worth it, I use it on a daily basis, so I will get my money’s worth at a quicker rate, I think anyway hah!

Would I recommend you go and purchase it right now? Yes! 100%! I now can’t live without it, because it is the holy grail of hair tools, and I have tested so many different ones…. No I’m not getting rid of those ones because they all have a use case, but I do find myself reaching for my Airwrap way more than I thought!

So I hope you enjoyed my little rant, stay tuned for my first time styling with my Airwrap on YouTube!
